Baseball Picked No. 13 in D3Baseball.com/NCBWA Preseason Top-25 Poll

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Baldwin Wallace University baseball team, under the direction of head coach Brian Harrison, has been ranked No. 13 in the 2025 D3Baseball.com/National College Baseball Writers Association Preseason Top-25 Poll.

BW sits at 13th with 278 total points after finishing 17th in last season's final Top-25 poll. The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater was picked at the top of the poll with 600 total points and 11 first-place votes followed by Salve Regina (R.I.) University with 550 points and five first-place votes, and Endicott (Mass.) College with 549 points and one first-place vote. Also receiving eight first-place votes was the defending national champion Misericordia (Pa.) University who sits at fourth place with 526 points. Denison University rounds out the top five with 490 points. The Yellow Jackets are the only Ohio Athletic Conference school represented in the Top-25.

The Brown and Gold returns to the diamond after finishing with a 36-10 record and a 15-3 record in conference play last season. The Yellow Jackets come off an Ohio Athletic Conference regular season title, an OAC Tournament title, and a NCAA Regional Tournament appearance.

BW opens the 2025 campaign on Friday, February 21 as they begin their roadtrip to Richmond, Kentucky to take on Franklin (Ind.) College at 10:30 a.m. in Earle Combs Stadium. On Saturday, February 22, the Yellow Jackets will take on Hope (Mich.) College at George Rogers Clark Cardinal Stadium in Winchester, Kentucky and will return to Combes Stadium to close the roadtrip against North Park (Ill.) University on Sunday, February 23.
