BEREA, Ohio – The No. 20 nationally ranked and Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) favorite Baldwin Wallace University men's wrestling team enters the 2025-26 season hungry for more — looking to extend its dominance over the league and remain a national contender in NCAA Division III.
BW, a unanimous preseason pick by OAC coaches to win a sixth straight conference title, return a powerhouse lineup that includes one All-American, two national qualifiers, five All-OAC selections, and three Academic All-OAC standouts from last year's squad. The 2024-25 Yellow Jackets posted a 13-4 overall record, went 7-0 in OAC duals, and claimed its fifth consecutive OAC crown, third straight NCAA Regional Championship, and an impressive fourth-place team finish at the NCAA Championships.
Top Returners
- Andrew Supers (Medina), a junior All-American at 165 pounds, headlines the returning cast after a stellar 40-6 campaign that included 11 pins, seven technical falls, and seven major decisions. Ranked No. 4 nationally, Supers is already tied for 41st in program history with a 75-15 career record and is a two-time All-OAC first-team pick and two-time NCAA qualifier. He has compiled 19 technical falls, 18 pins, and 11 major decisions.
- Remington Bauer (Norwalk/Edison), the No. 10-ranked 184-pounder, returns after his first NCAA tournament appearance and All-OAC first-team honor. The Academic All-OAC honoree compiled a 27-10 record last year and now boasts 81 career wins, ranking 34th all-time at BW. Bauer has compiled 17 major decisions, 15 pins, and 12 technical falls.
- Tommy West (Avon Lake/St. Edward), who returns after a not competing a season ago, is No. 9 nationally at 157 pounds. The two-time NCAA qualifier and two-time All-OAC first-teamer owns an 83-31 career mark, good for 32nd in program history, with 30 pins, 14 technical falls, and 11 major decisions to his name.
- Manny Scordos (Brecksville/Brecksville-Broadview Heights), ranked third in the region at 149 pounds, enjoyed a breakout season with a career-best 34 wins, career-high eight pins, a career-best five major decisions and added four technical falls, earning All-OAC second team honors. He enters his senior year with 95 career victories, placing 19th in school history. Scordos has recorded 20 pins, 13 technical falls and seven major decisions.
- Dorian Hoffmann (Luzerne, Pa./Wyoming Valley), ranked second regionally at 125 pounds, burst onto the scene as an All-OAC first team selection after going 27-14 and winning the BW Invitational title. He recorded nine technical falls, five pins and three major decisions.
