WILLOUGHBY HILLS, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team finished in fifth place at the John Carroll University Fall Invitational at the Manakiki Golf Course.
BW was fifth of nine teams with 689 strokes on the par-72 and 5,603 yard Manakiki layout. Wittenberg University was the champion with 661 strokes.
- Freshman Kylie Porter (North Canton/Hoover) fired rounds of 84 and 81 for a two-round total of 165
- Freshman Ashley Bistodeau (North Branch, Minn.) carded rounds of 86 and 84 for a two-day total of 170
- Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC Alana Smith (Fremont/Ross) shot rounds of 85 and 91 for a two-round total of 176
- Sophomore Gillian Mitchell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) posted two rounds of 89 for a two-day total of 178
- Freshman Charlotte Falsone (West Salem/Black River) had rounds of 105 and 96 for a two-round total of 201
The Yellow Jackets close out the fall season on Monday, October 20 when they host The Cleveland Cup at the Pine Hills Golf Club in Hinckley.
