Blazetic, Smith, and Lynn Selected to Women’s Volleyball All-OAC Teams

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University women's volleyball student-athletes senior setter Katarina Blazetic (DeLand, Fla.), junior right-side hitter Lexi Smith (Tiffin / Columbian), and sophomore middle hitter Josie Lynn (Wabash, Ind. / Northfield) have been named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball teams.

Blazetic earned a first-team selection, Smith received a second-team selection, and Lynn was named honorable mention.

Blazetic was named All-OAC first team after being the OAC leader in total assists with 1,020 in 2025. Her senior season saw her climb the record books in career assists by landing in seventh all-time in BW history at 2,413. Blazetic had several standout matches this season, including a contest against Adrian College (Mich.) where she had nine service aces and surpassed her previous best by four aces. The setter also had a 48-assist match against Penn State Behrend (Pa.) on September 20. The setter had 19 double-doubles between assists and digs with her season-best match being 24 digs against No. 20 Marietta. Blazetic was also named the inaugural Yellow Jacket Women's Athlete of the Month for both September and October.

Smith earned her first All-OAC team selection this season after being the team kills leader with 298 total. The second-team right-side hitter averaged 3.04 kills/set and led the Jackets with 320.5 points. She was named OAC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career in late September after a remarkable stretch of matches. Smith led the Jackets to four victories in five matches that week, earning three-set sweeps in all four wins. Her 71 total kills that week and career-match-best 20 kills over Hanover (Ind.) made for a terrific stretch for the junior. Smith ranked third in the OAC for total kills this season.

Lynn was named honorable mention for the second time in her two-year career. Her season started in early October as she was recovering from a knee injury, and she made her mark in her second match by hitting .444 with eight kills against Ohio Northern. She received her first OAC Offensive Player of the Week accolade on November 10 after getting a season-best 12 kills and four blocks in a sweep over Denison University. This season, she led the Jackets with a team-best .324 hitting percentage. When Lynn was not focused on taking care of her injured knee, she was focused on making an impact at the net.

The Yellow Jackets concluded their 2025 season with a 16-14 record and a 5-3 OAC record.  BW advanced to the OAC Tournmament quarterfinals.
