GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's volleyball team had four student-athletes selected to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division III Academic All-District Team.
Student-athletes can qualify for the Academic All-District Team by being a sophomore academically and athletically, having a 3.50 grade point average (GPA) or higher, and competing in 90% of the team's matches.

Katarina Blazetic (DeLand, Fla.) earns this distinctive selection for the third time in her BW career. Senior Academic All-OAC libero/defensive specialist
Paige Contris (Pemberville / Eastwood) earns her second selection for this award. Senior Academic All-OAC outside hitter
Gabby Schlecht (Naperville, Ill. / North) receives this recognition for the second time. Junior Second Team All-OAC right side hitter
Lexi Smith (Tiffin / Columbian) earns her first selection for this award. These four student-athletes now advanced to the CSC Academic All-America® Team ballot. The selections for this award will be announced on January 13, 2026.
Blazetic, who collected her third career honor, had a 3.89 GPA in business administration. She totaled 1,020 total assists this season to become the OAC leader while climbing to seventh all-time in school history with 2,413 career assists. The senior was named First Team All-OAC, Yellow Jacket Women's Athlete of the Month for September and October, and Buffalo State (N.Y.) Bengal Challenge All-Tournament team. Off the field,

Contris, who earned this recognition for the second time in her career, had a 3.78 GPA in business administration. She appeared in 30 matches this season and recorded a career-high 530 digs, which was the fourth-best in the OAC. The senior also tallied career bests in assists and service aces with 111 and 30, respectively. Off the field,
Contris was also named to the Academic All-OAC team this season.
Schlecht, who was honored for this award for the second time in her career, carried a 3.89 GPA in pre-allied health & pre-physical therapy. She ranked second on the team in total kills with a career-best of 260. The outside hitter also appeared in all 30 matches, 106 total sets, and averaged 2.45 kills/set. Off the field,
Schlecht was also named to the Academic All-OAC team this season.
Smith, who earned her first career recognition, carried a 3.96 GPA in communication sciences and disorders. The Yellow Jackets' kills leader was also fifth in the OAC for total kills with 298 in 2025. She was named Second Team All-OAC and was named OAC Offensive Player of the Week on September 29. Smith was also named to the Academic All-OAC team this season.
The Yellow Jackets concluded their 2025 season with a 16-14 overall record and 5-3 conference record. They finished fourth in the Ohio Athletic Conference and hosted the OAC tournament quarterfinals in November.
