SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country junior
Dillon Hach (Medina) was the 258th finisher with an 8k time of 26:38.1 at the NCAA Division III National Championship on the Roger Milliken Cross Country Course. This race concludes the 2025 men's cross country fall season.
"Really proud of Dillon and what he accomplished this year," shared Head Coach
Joe Eby. "All-conference, all-region, and representing Baldwin Wallace on the national stage. He checked a lot of boxes and has helped bring our men's team into a new era."
This was
Hach's first national championship appearance, and it was the first time a Yellow Jacket has competed on a national stage since 2011 when Ken Janosko competed in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
Hach led the Jackets in each of the last four meets of the 2025 season. He earned fifth place in the OAC Championship and also helped BW to a first-place team finish at the Allegheny (Pa.) Classic. The Medina native's season-best time was at the Louisville Classic (Ky.) where he finished the 8k in 25:22.8 and improved his PR time by a stunning 25 seconds.
Hach qualified for nationals at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regionals in Louisville, Ky. on the same course he set his PR about a month prior. He placed one spot higher than he did in October's race with a nearly identical finish of 25:23.6. The junior earned his first Men's Yellow Jacket of the Week award following this race.
Coach Eby added that he is "Excited to see what the future holds for him and the rest of the team."
