ALLIANCE, Ohio – Select members of the Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field team competed at the Mount Union Last Chance Meet inside of Kehres Stadium. Each student-athlete competed in order to obtain a qualifying mark to the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championship meet next week. The meet was unscored.
- Junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference distance runner Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station / Columbia) finished third in the 1500-meter run in a time of 3:54.36.
- Sophomore All-OAC sprinter Wesley Noeth (Powell / Olentangy Liberty) placed fourth in the 400-meter dash in a time of 48.83.
Select Yellow Jackets also competed in the Augustana (Ill.) Midwest Twilight Qualifier, hosted by Augustana (Ill.) College. The meet was unscored.
- Sophomore thrower Kitar Olsen (Whitefish, Mont.) won the hammer throw with a mark of 58.62 meters.
The Brown and Gold will now wait and see which athletes qualify for the 2025 NCAA Outdoor National Championships, co-hosted by the North Coast Athletic Conference and SPIRE Institute from May 22-24 in Geneva, Ohio.
