BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University Head Football Coach Jim Hilvert is excited to welcome back former student-athletes Zach Zoul '25, who returns to the program as a graduate assistant coach for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
Zoul, a Strongsville, Ohio native, earned a Bachelor of Science in exercise science from BW in May 2025. In his new role, he will work closely with the linebackers.
A dual-sport athlete during his collegiate career, Zoul was a four-year letterwinner in both football and lacrosse. On the gridiron, he played in 27 career games as a linebacker, amassing 65 total tackles—including four for loss—along with four pass breakups, two fumble recoveries, two blocked kicks, one forced fumble, and one interception.
On the lacrosse field, Zoul served as a face-off specialist and appeared in 67 games. He won 413 of 787 face-offs (.525 win percentage) with 216 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers. His offensive contributions included 27 shots, 13 points on seven assists and six goals.
Zoul is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in sport management.
