BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team and head coach
Joe Eby will begin their season this Friday to kick off their four-meet regular season.
Last year's team finished in sixth place in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championships and 13th in the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships. The Yellow Jackets will return with 18 veterans and welcome five newcomers to their squad.

The team will be led by seniors
David Seymour (Bozeman, Mont. / Gallatin) and
Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station / Columbia).
Seymour set a PR in the four-mile race to start last season and had a season-best 8k time at the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational of 29:23.0.
Sikorski set a PR in the 8k at least year's OAC Championships with a 26:01.8 time. He was also an honoree for three academic awards by the USTFCCCA, College Sports Communicators, and the OAC.
Junior
Andrew Piehler (Medina) was the top-finisher for the Yellow Jackets at the 2024 OAC Championships with his 25:56.6 PR time in the 8k race. Sophomore
Nate James (Warren / Harding) was named an All-Academic honoree by the USTFCCCA and set his season-best 8k time of 25:58.2 at the OAC Championships. Sophomore
Will Prato (Massillon / Jackson) also set his season-best 8k in his first collegiate championship event, the OAC Championships, with a time of 26:04.3.
