WOOSTER, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team started their season at the Wooster Invitational with a four-mile race.
There were 19 Yellow Jackets who completed the race, and there were four who finished in the top 15 out of the pool of 84 runners. The top four Yellow Jackets were veterans looking to set the tone for the new season.
Top BW Finishers
- Junior Sage Egan (Toledo / Ottawa Hills) led the team by finishing in sixth place with a PR time of 21:55.0.
- Senior Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station / Columbia) started his farewell season with a PR time of 21:59.3 while finishing in seventh.
- Junior Gabe Ghering (Sunbury / Big Walnut) also set a PR in the four-mile with his 12th-place time of 22:20.4.
- Junior Andrew Piehler (Medina) landed in 14th place with his PR time of 22:25.9.
- Freshman Anthony Miklos (Gibsonia, Pa. / North Allegheny) led the newcomers on his squad with a time of 22:50.2 while finishing in 21st place.
