HARROD, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's golf team finished in fourth place at the season-opening Ohio Northern University Kickoff Classic at the Colonial Golfers Club.
BW was fourth of five teams with 346 strokes on the par-72 and 6,173 yard Colonial Golfers layout. John Carroll University was the champion with 331 strokes.
- Freshman Ashley Bistodeau (North Branch, Minn.) finished in third place with a round of 78
- Freshman Kylie Porter (North Canton/Hoover) placed fifth with a round of 82
- Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC player Alana Smith (Fremont/Ross) tied for sixth place with a round of 83
- Sophomore Gillian Mitchell (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) and freshman Charlotte Falsone (West Salem/Black River) each carded rounds of 103
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Monday, September 1 when they return to Harrod to compete in the Joe Campoli Memorial Invitational at the Colonial Golfers Club.
