UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's track and field team competed at their first indoor meet of 2026 at the Leo Miller & Hayden Snow Meet of Champions at John Carroll University in an unscored meet.

Track Event Highlights

• Sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference hurdler Jameire Honzu (Warren / Harding) took first place in the 60m hurdle prelims with a 9.10 second time and finished in first in the finals with a 9.16 second time.
• Sophomore All-OAC sprinter Kenae Moore (Cypress, Texas / Bridgeland) and senior Academic All-OAC sprinter Jessica Klonowski (Parma / Holy Name) both earned career-bests in the 60m dash finals while finishing in second and third place, respectively. Moore finished in 8.01 seconds and Klonowski finished in 8.11 seconds.

Field Event Highlights

• Sophomore thrower Delaney Friscone (Columbia Station / Columbia) earned a PR in the shot put with a 11.21m (36' 9.5") first-place put.
• Sophomore Janelle Rominger (Cambridge) broke the weight throw fieldhouse record at John Carroll with her second-place throw of 13.97m (45' 10").
• Junior All-OAC jumper Rylee Gorrell (Grove City, Pa. / Grove City Area) tied for first place in the high jump while first-year jumper Macy Schubach (New Riegel) tied for third place while earning a PR of 1.51m (4' 11.25"). Gorrell's 1.59m (5' 2.25") jump set a new high jump fieldhouse record at John Carroll University.
