Waddy and Honzu Earn All-American Recognition at NCAA Outdoor Nationals

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Baldwin Wallace University junior All-American jumper Amari Waddy (Fort Campbell, Ky.) earned Second Team All-American honors in the high jump and sophomore OAC Champion hurdler Jameire Honzu (Warren/Harding) earned Second Team All-American honors in the 100m hurdles at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse inside the Veteran's Memorial Field Sports Complex.

Waddy cleared a height of 1.98m (6' 6") in the high jump to tie for 16th place in the event. This performance earned him Second Team All-America honors – his second All-American recognition of the 2025-26 school year. Waddy is the seventh men's high jumper in BW history to be named All-American.

Honzu competed in the 100m hurdles competition with a time of 14.45 seconds and finished in 12th place. Her time did not qualify her for tomorrow's 100m hurdles final competition. However, she earned her first All-American recognition today to conclude her sophomore season. Honzu is the fifth women's hurdler to earn All-American status in the 100m hurdles in school history.
