Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station /Columbia) and junior Academic All-OAC jumper
Amari Waddy (Fort Campbell, Ky.) have been named the OAC Men's Indoor Track and Field Runner and Field Athletes of the Week.
Sikorski, who earns his second weekly honor of the season and career, brings home the award after finishing fourth of 11 runners in the 800-meter run at the Silverston Invitational hosted by NCAA Division I University of Michigan in a school-record time of 1:52.38. He was just one of two Division III runners in the field.

Sikorski is a two-time Academic All-OAC performer, U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honoree, a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
Waddy secured his first career weekly recognition after winning the high jump with an OAC leading and career-best mark of 6 feet and 8.75 inches last Friday at the Ed Finnegan Greater Cleveland Colleges Invitational hosted by Case Western Reserve University. The mark now puts him ninth in NCAA Division III and second in the Great Lakes Region this season.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday and Saturday, February 27 and 28 when they travel to Tiffin to compete in the OAC Indoor Championships hosted by Heidelberg University inside Frann's Fieldhouse.
