INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Baldwin Wallace sophomore All-Ohio Athletic Conference diver
Makenna Mincey (Brunswick/Magnificat) concluded an impressive season by competing in the 3-meter diving event at the 2026 NCAA Division III Diving Championships hosted by Indiana University at Indianapolis in the IU Natatorium.
Mincey, who was the National Runner-up in the 1-meter and earned her first All-American honor on Thursday night, was 27 of 29 divers with 392.50 points.
This season, she became the first BW diver to earn All-American honors since 2012 after bringing home the second place trophy.
Mincey claimed her second straight OAC Diver of the Year Award after winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter events at the 2026 OAC Championships in February.
Mincey qualified for the championships after winning the 1-meter title at the NCAA Division III Region 1 Regionals.
For her career,
Mincey is a four-time All-OAC performer. She is the OAC and school record holder in the 1-meter and 11 dive events with 520.10 points.
Mincey also holds the BW Natatorium record for the 3-meter and 6 dives and 3-meter and 11-dives events.
Out of the pool, she is an Academic All-OAC honoree with a perfect 4.00 grade point average in mathematics and accounting.
