BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's tennis team shutout the University of Mount Union in a rescheduled Ohio Athletic Conference match by a final score of 7-0 on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts.

BW (12-3, 1-1 OAC) and Mount Union (9-10, 0-3 OAC) were originally scheduled to play on April 18 but were postponed due to inclement weather.

Doubles

• Senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC Will Horvath (Oregon/Clay) and senior Academic All-OAC Henry Harders (Ottawa Hills) won at first doubles by a score of 7-6 (7-4)
• Sophomore All-OAC Vinny Cannata (Aurora) and sophomore Tyler Fenton (Williamstown, W.Va.) won at second doubles by a score of 6-3
• Senior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC Jacob Weingart (Tiffin/Columbian) and freshman Sevie Kretchmar (Vermillion) won at third doubles by a score of 6-1

Singles

• Horvath won at first singles by scores of 6-1 and 6-2
• Cannata won at second singles by scores of 6-0, 6-7 and 1-0 (11-9)
• Fenton won at third singles by scores of 6-2 and 6-0
• Harders won at fourth singles scores of 6-0 and 6-1
• Kretchmar won at fifth singles by identical scores of 6-0
• Weingart won at sixth singles by scores of 6-2 and 6-0

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, April 25 when it hosts an OAC and Seniors' Day match against Otterbein University on the Pop Collins Tennis Courts at 1 p.m.
