NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Baldwin Wallace women's lacrosse junior Academic All-OAC midfielder
Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Catholic) has been selected by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association to the All-Great Lakes Region First Team. This is the first IWLCA All-Region selection in her accomplished collegiate career.
She was one of 256 student-athletes across Division III to be recognized as All-Region. She is now eligible to be selected as an IWLCA All-American, which will be announced on May 22.
Alic was the leading scorer in the Ohio Athletic Conference in 2026 with 56 goals, now totaling 166 in her three years as a Yellow Jacket. She became the all-time leading scorer at BW on April 22, surpassing the 159-goal mark that was established in 2024 by Deanna Loukas.
Alic is at 213 career points, which is just 20 shy of tying the program record. Her junior season included two seven-goal games, one eight-point game, and many accolades to add to an impressive athletic resume.
Her 2026 season granted her the Ohio Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Year honor for the first time in her career, while being named First Team all-conference for the third time. She was also selected to the OAC All-Tournament team following her three-goal performance in the OAC semifinals to get BW to their first OAC title game since 2017.
Alic was an OAC Offensive Player of the Week honoree, three-time Women's Yellow Jacket of the Week selection, and Yellow Jacket Women's Athlete of the Month recipient in March.
Off the field,
Alic is an Academic All-OAC honoree and a psychology major at BW. She is a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society and was named a Jacket Scholar.
