BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team, led by 37^th-year head coach Cheri Harrer, has released its 2026-27 schedule.

The season opens in 46 days with a road trip to face Hanover College in Indiana on Friday, November 6. In the first 10 games of the season, the Yellow Jackets play every other game at home inside Ursprung Gymnasium in the Lou Higgins Center. This begins with a home matchup against an NCAA tournament team in the Trine Thunder on Wednesday, November 11. The Brown and Gold hit the road to face the Presidents' Athletic Conference regular-season champion Saint Vincent College Bearcats in Pittsburgh. Non-conference play ends with matchups against Oberlin, La Roche, and NCAA tournament team John Carroll.

Ohio Athletic Conference play begins on Tuesday, December 1 against the Mount Union Purple Raiders on the road. BW then hosts Muskingum for a matinee against the Muskies on Saturday, December 5. The Yellow Jackets will hit the road to face Marietta on Saturday, December 12 and return to Ursprung to face Capital on Saturday, December 19 before a holiday break.

The holiday season would not be complete without a home tournament! BW will host the Baldwin Wallace Holiday Tournament on Tuesday, December 29 and Wednesday, December 30. This tournament will feature two semifinal games on Tuesday, and the winners will compete in a championship game on Wednesday. There will also be a third-place game on Wednesday. Manchester University will face an NCAA Elite Eight team in Hope College to start the tournament. Then, BW will face Mount Aloysius.

2027 kicks off with a road game against the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference champion Penn State Behrend Lions on Saturday, January 2. The slate of 12 consecutive OAC matchups includes home games against Otterbein, Ohio Northern, Marietta, Mount Union, Heidelberg, and Wilmington. The away OAC games in 2027 include Heidelberg, Wilmington, Muskingum, Otterbein, Capital, and Ohio Northern.

The OAC tournament will begin on Tuesday, February 23 with quarterfinals on Thursday, February 25 and the championship game on Saturday, February 27. The NCAA tournament is set to begin on Friday, March 5.
