LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Baldwin Wallace University men's volleyball team has been ranked No. 12 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association Top-20 Poll.
After being unranked last week, BW is up to 12th marking the highest ranking in program history. The Yellow Jackets were last ranked No. 18 during the 2024 season and are the only Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League team ranked in the latest poll.
BW got off to a 5-1 start to the 2025 season after going 3-0 in the Baldwin Wallace Invitational this weekend with sweeps over Milwaukee (Wisc.) School of Engineering and No. 11 nationally ranked St. John Fisher (N.Y.) University, and another Top-20 victory against the No. 13 nationally ranked University of California-Santa Cruz in four sets. The week prior, the Brown and Gold took down No. 14 nationally ranked Misericordia (Pa.) University in only the program's second ever victory over a nationally ranked team.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action Thursday, January 30 as they travel to Lisle, Illinois to take on Benedictine (Ill.) College in a non-conference match at 8 p.m. EST in the Rice Center.
