Women's Cross Country

Women’s Cross Country Places 14th in Inter-Regional Rumble

OBERLIN, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team, led by head coach Joe Eby, finished in 14th place out of 25 teams in the Inter-Regional Rumble at Oberlin College.

The women's varsity 6k race was highlighted by top finisher Allie Carey (Strongsville) who landed in the top 50. Three Yellow Jackets finished in the top 100, including junior Madison Prigge (Deshler / Henry) and junior Amy Burchett (Grove City / Madison Plains).

BW Top Runners
  • Carey finished in 49th place with a time of 24:05.6 to lead the Jackets in Oberlin.
  • Prigge had a 24:25.1 time in the 6k to finish in 67th place.
  • Burchett placed 96th overall out of 213 runners with a time of 25:01.1.

  • The Jackets will prepare for the OAC Championships, which are set for Saturday, November 1 at Otterbein University.
