WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team finished their first 6k race of the season at the Otterbein Invitational with the squad taking fifth place out of 13 teams.
The Yellow Jackets had another top five finisher in
Jillian White (Hermitage, Pa. / Hickory) who finished her previous race at the Wooster Invitational in second place.
Clarice Martin (North Benton / West Branch) was the second Jacket to cross the finish line in her collegiate debut today, proving how strong this class of first-year runners is.
BW Top Runners
- White took fourth place overall with her 6k time of 22:45.57, which was less than a minute behind the front runner.
- Martin landed in 38th place with her 6k time of 24:43.62 while being the second Yellow Jacket finisher.
- Senior Charlotte Jones (Brecksville / Brecksville-Broadview) was another top-50 finisher out of the pool of 100 with her time of 25:00.19.
