WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team finished in fourth place out of nine teams at the Ohio Athletic Conference Championship 6k at Otterbein University on the Lehman Cross Country Course.
Coach Joe Eby's team had one top 10 finisher and medalist along with seven top 50 finishers. The Yellow Jackets were led by first-year student athlete
Allie Carey (Strongsville) who took 10th place and earned a medal in her championship debut. Fourth is the highest team placement for women's cross country this season, with their next-best finish being fifth place when they raced at Otterbein on September 13.
BW Top Runners
- Carey finished in 10th place with a time of 23:08.6 to lead the Jackets.
- Junior Madison Prigge (Deshler / Henry) earned a 27th place time of 23:57.9 at Otterbein.
- First-year Jillian White placed 28th overall with a time of 23:59.8.
