MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team, led by
Coach Joe Eby, closed out their 6k race at the Allegheny (Pa.) Classic by finishing in seventh out of 12 teams.
Yellow Jacket newcomer
Jillian White (Hermitage, Pa. / Hickory) had her third consecutive top 10 finish to start her collegiate career. Junior
Madison Prigge (Deshler / Henry) helped to lead the pack by placing in 30th overall out of 158 runners.
BW Top Runners
- White had a time of 24:32 in the 6k while earning seventh place. She has led the Jackets in all three races this fall.
- Prigge finished the race with a time of 26:32 while taking 30th place.
- The next four Yellow Jackets finished within 10 seconds of one another. They were Amy Burchett with a time of 26:53 (Grove City / Madison Plains), Gabby Vennetti (Boardman) at 26:55, Adison Wierzbicki (Akron / Lake) at 27:00, and Clarice Martin (North Benton/West Branch) at 27:03.
