Football Climbs into National Top 25 in AFCA and D3football.com Polls

BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University football has returned to the national spotlight, earning a place in both the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and D3football.com Top 25 polls for the first time since the 2021 season.

BW (6-1, 4-1 OAC) enters the D3football.com Top 25 at No. 22 and the AFCA Coaches' Poll at No. 24.

The Yellow Jackets were last ranked on Nov. 8, 2021, reaching as high as No. 20 in the D3football.com poll and No. 21 in the AFCA poll. BW is one of only two Ohio Athletic Conference programs currently represented in the national rankings, joining the University of Mount Union at No. 2 in both polls.

The Yellow Jackets have won three straight games and has outscored opponents 146–34 during that span.

This season, BW is averaging 43.9 points per game and 461.3 yards of total offense, while the Yellow Jacket defense is holding opponents to just 16.7 points per game and 274.1 yards.
BW is back in action on Saturday, October 25 when it travels to New Concord for an OAC game against Muskingum University on Edgar A. Sherman Field inside McConagha at 1:30 p.m.
