NEW ORLEANS, La. – Five Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field student-athletes have been named to the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Great Lakes Region Team.
To qualify, a student-athlete must be in the top 5 of each event in each region earn or be a member of a top 3 ranked relay team. Data is compiled bases on regional TFRI at the conclusion of the regular season.
Senior All-American high jumper
Christian Pfeiffer (Lorain/Amherst), senior thrower
Kaleu Tellas (Indianapolis, Ind./International School of Indiana), junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference long jumper
Kaedan Faggs (Marion/Hardin), junior All-OAC distance runner
Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station/Columbia) and sophomore thrower
Kitar Olsen (Whitefish, Mont.) earned All-Great Lakes Region accolade.
Pfeiffer garners his second straight career accolade. He concluded his illustrious career by claiming his third career outdoor All-American honor with his runner up finish in the high jump. For his career,
Pfeiffer was a three-time All-American, the three-time defending OAC Champion and three-time All-OAC honoree. He is the school record holder in the event and was the 2024 USTFCCCA Great Lakes Region Field Athlete of the Year. Off the track,
Pfeiffer was a three time Academic All-OAC honoree, 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-American, College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-American, 2024 USTFCCA All-Academic selection, 2024 CSC Academic All-District honoree, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
Tellas, who earns his first career honor, after he had a career-best mark of 190 feet and three inches in the hammer throw. He was a two-time indoor All-Great Lakes Region honoree in the shot put.
Faggs, who garners his first accolade, was the 2025 Ohio Athletic Conference Champion and a NCAA Division III national qualifier in the long jump. He qualified for the national championships with a career-best leap of 24 feet and nine inches.
Faggs finished in 18th place at the national championships. He was also an indoor All-Great Lakes Region honoree in the long jump.
Sikorski, who earns his first accolade, after he set a career-best time of 3:52.02 in the 1,500-meter run. This season, he earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors as he was the runner-up in both the 1,500-meter run and as a member of the second place 4x800-meter relay.
Sikorski was the OAC Track Athlete of the Week on April 28. He was also an indoor All-Great Lakes Region honoree in the one-mile run. Off the track,
Sikorski is a two-time Academic All-OAC honoree, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Honor Society.
Olsen, who garners his first honor, after he had a career-best mark of 192 feet and four inches.
Olsen qualified for his first outdoor NCAA Division III National Championship, where he placed 18th. Off the track, he is an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree and a Dean's List student.
