NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse team has been recognized by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) as a 2025 Academic Honor Squad. In addition, three BW student-athletes have earned spots on the prestigious IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
To qualify as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, a team must post a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher for the academic year. BW surpassed this benchmark with a 3.477 team GPA.
To be named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be juniors, seniors, or graduate students and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
The Yellow Jackets were one of 376 programs across all divisions of collegiate women's lacrosse — including 179 in NCAA Division III — to receive the Academic Honor Squad distinction. BW was also one of just 11 schools in Ohio and one of six from the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) to earn the honor.
The three Yellow Jacket student-athletes recognized on the Academic Honor Roll were among 1,284 individuals from 202 institutions nationwide, and among just 28 honorees from the OAC. BW's honorees are:
