Women’s Cross Country Picked Fourth in OAC Preseason Coaches Poll

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team has been selected to finish fourth in the 2025 Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Preseason Coaches Poll, as announced by the league office.

BW earned 43 points in the poll, marking the third consecutive year the Yellow Jackets have been picked to finish fourth. Ohio Northern University topped the poll with 61 points and six first-place votes, followed by Otterbein University with 55 points and two first-place votes. The University of Mount Union was slotted third with 54 points and one first-place vote, while Capital University rounded out the top five with 33 points.

Under the leadership of Coordinator of Cross Country and Track and Field Joe Eby, the Yellow Jackets return four Academic All-OAC honorees from last year's team, which placed fifth at the OAC Championships and 16th at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships.

BW opens its 2025 campaign on Friday, August 29, at The College of Wooster Invitational, held on the L.C. Boles Memorial Golf Course in Wooster.
