NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country and women's cross country teams were named United States Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III All-Academic Teams. Three men's cross country athletes were also named All-Academic Athletes.
To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
The BW women's team had a cumulative GPA of 3.58 awhile the Yellow Jacket men had a cumulative GPA of 3.38.
To be eligible as an All-Academic Athlete, student athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top 25 percent of their respective regional championship meet.
The men's team had three student-athletes earn the recognition junior
Sage Egan (Toledo/Ottawa Hills), sophomore
Isaak Keller (Seven Hills/Normandy), and senior
Sam Sikorski (Columbia Station/Columbia).
Egan, who garners his first career honor, carries a 3.598 grade point average in computer science. This season, he ran a personal best 8k time of 26:20.0 at the24th Swags Louisville Cross Country Classic on October 4. Off the course,
Egan is an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree.
Keller, who earns his first career accolade, carries a 3.720 grade point average in pre-allied health and pre-physical therapy. This season, he ran a personal best 8k time of 26:26.7 at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships on November 15. Off the course,
Keller is an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree.
Sikorski, who garners his second career honor, carries a 3.698 grade point average in business of healthcare. This season, he ran career-best in his final career race with a time of 25:44.5 at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships on November 19. Off the course,
Sikorski is a three-time Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference honoree, 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection, Jacket Scholar and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
The BW men's team finished third at the 2025 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships while the Yellow Jacket women placed fourth at the 2025 Ohio Athletic Conference Championships.
