Men’s Cross Country Staff Named Co-Recipient of OAC Coaching Staff of the Year

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country Head Coach Joe Eby, Assistant Coach Julian Johnson-Millan, and Assistant Coach Josh Fiorentino were named the co-winners of the Ohio Athletic Conference Coaching Staff of the Year award. Otterbein University's men's cross country staff was also honored as co-recipients of the award.

Eby's staff won their first OAC Coaching Staff of the Year recognition in his 11 seasons at the helm. The Yellow Jackets, who were voted to finish fourth in the OAC preseason poll, earned a third-place finish at the OAC Championships. This was the highest placement any of Eby's cross country teams have ever achieved. That highest-placement accomplishment was repeated at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championship on November 15 as the Jackets finished in fourth place out of 37 teams.

Eby's staff also helped to produce the program's first NCAA Division III Championship runner since 2011 in junior Dillon Hach (Medina) who competed on November 22. The Jackets also took first place in the Allegheny (Pa.) Classic on September 20 in their first outright meet victory since September 2017.
