WOOSTER, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's cross country team completed their season debut at the Wooster Invitational with a 4k race.
The two Yellow Jackets that burst onto the scene by finishing in second place and 16th place, respectively, were none other than newcomers
Jillian White (Hermitage, Pa./Hickory) and
Allie Carey (Strongsville). Three BW runners finished in the top 25 out of the 63-person pool.
BW Top Runners
- White was the top BW finisher with her 15:20.9 time as she finished in second place.
- Carey made her collegiate debut by finishing in 16th place with a 16:18.3 time in the 4k.
- Junior Amy Burchett (Grove City / Madison Plains) finished with a time of 16:42.8 to start the year.
- Senior Katie Plecko (Rootstown) began her final season with a 17:08.1 finish as the top senior on the squad.
