BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's basketball team, led by head coach Tom Heil, has released its schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season.
The Yellow Jackets are slated to play 25 games in the campaign; 11 of them are on the floor of the Ursprung Gymnasium and 14 of them will be away from Berea.
BW opens up the season on Friday, November 7 on the road at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg for a 7 p.m. tip off. The Yellow Jackets play their home opener the following contest against Washington and Jefferson College on Monday, November 10 which also tips off at 7 p.m.
BW has four games outside of the conference to conclude the month of November. The Yellow Jackets play on the road against away games at Wittenberg University on November 12, Trine (Ind.) University on November 15 and Kenyon College on November 18. BW concludes the month two nights before Thanksgiving on Tuesday, November 25 against Hiram College.
Following the holiday weekend, the Yellow Jackets tip off December and Ohio Athletic Conference play against Marietta College on Wednesday, December 3. It will be the only home game that they have for the entire month. BW closes out the month with road match ups with OAC opponents Muskingum University on December 6, the University of Mount Union on December 16 and Capital University on December 19. The Yellow Jackets close out 2025 with a New Years Eve road game against Bluffton University
Starting the new year off, the program will have two final non-conference games before hopping into OAC opponents the rest of the season. BW plays host to Chatham (Pa.) University on January 3 against Chatham University. The Yellow Jacket hit the road for a game against Ohio Wesleyan University on January 10.
Beginning 2026 OAC play at home on January 7 against Otterbein University, the Yellow Jackets also have home games throughout January and February which are against Wilmington College on January 17, Ohio Northern University on January 21, Muskingum University on January 24, Mount Union on February 4, Capital on February 7, and Heidelberg University on February 18.
The Brown and Gold have only six road games the rest of the season and five in the conference side of the schedule including at Heidelberg on January 14, Otterbein on January 28, Marietta on January 31, Ohio Northern on February 11 and Wilmington on February 21.
The OAC Men's Basketball Tournament is scheduled to be held February 24, 26, and 28, with the higher seeds playing host to the games.
