WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The reigning Ohio Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year, attack/midfield
Bennet Trout (Pickerington/North), has been named the OAC Offensive Player of the Week.
Trout led the Yellow Jackets to a 19-4 road win over Muskingum on Friday, April 3. The USILA All-American honorable mention attack/midfield had the best performance of his senior season with five goals and four assists for nine points. He leads the team with 32 assists this season and shares the team lead in points with 53. Trout is the OAC leader in assists and assists per game with 2.91. He also shares the conference lead with the most points scored this season to be a top offensive playmaker in the OAC.
Trout's 2025 campaign included being the OAC leader in points scored with 101. He also had a career-best 46 assists and 55 goals scored the same season. Trout was named All-OAC First Team and won academic awards such as Academic All-OAC and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District. He is a business administration major, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar, and is a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
