WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio sprinter
Rodney Washington Jr. (Warrensville Heights/Benedictine) and senior All-American sprinter/jumper
Kaedan Faggs (Marion/Harding) have been voted the OAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field athletes of the week, respectively.
Washington Jr. earned three top-three times in the Ohio Athletic Conference in three different events at the Dave Labor Alumni Invitational this weekend at NCAA Division II Slippery Rock (Pa.) University. The All-Ohio senior sprinter finished the 100m dash in 16
th place with a 10.95 second finish to be third in the OAC. He also set a personal record in the 200m dash with a 22.14 second finish that is second in the OAC. His 4x100m relay team finished in 42.65 seconds to be third in the OAC and fifth overall at Slippery Rock.
Faggs set the best long jump mark in the nation at Slippery Rock. The All-American senior sprinter/jumper tied for second place with a 7.41m (24' 3.75") jump. This jump is the best in the Ohio Athletic Conference, best in the Great Lakes Region, and ties for the nation's best jump. The person who tied him competed alongside
Faggs in the same meet. They both lost to an NCAA Division II student-athlete in the event.
Faggs was also part of the 4x100m relay team that set the third-best time in the OAC with a 42.65 second finish.

Faggs is a business administration major and
Washington Jr. is a nursing major.
