WOOSTER, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's soccer team fell to the College of Wooster by a final score of 3-0 at Carl Dale Field, ending a two-game non-losing streak and concluding four consecutive games played away from home, their longest road trip of the season. 
 
Game Recap
The first half saw the Yellow Jackets trailing for most of it. The Fighting Scots scored the first goal of the game at the 5:52 mark of play. The Brown and Gold took three shots in the half and tallied one corner kick.
 
After the break, it was still a 1-0 Wooster lead for the first 20 minutes of the half. The Fighting Scots scored again to make it a two-goal game, 2-0. The rest of the game saw Wooster score another goal to make it 3-0 in the 83rd minute of play. From there, they held on to the lead they extended by two in the final half to walk out of the contest with the victory.
 
The Matchup
The contest was the ninth meeting since 2017 between BW and Wooster, with the Fighting Scots leading these games in a close battle, 5-4.
 
Looking Ahead
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, September 19, when their seniors will be honored in a game against Transylvania University at the George Finnie Stadium. Kickoff is at 5:30 p.m., 90 minutes earlier than the original 7 p.m. start time.
