BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's swimming and diving team remained undefeated on the season as it defeated the University of Mount Union in an Ohio Athletic Conference dual meet by a final score of 133-106 in the BW Natatorium inside the Lou Higgins Center.
BW (5-0, 2-0 OAC) won six individual events and one relay. Mount Union (1-2, 0-1 OAC) won four individual races and one relay.
Individuals
- Senior All-OAC stroker Mallory Dondorfer (Mentor) won the 200-yard butterfly and the 400-yard individual medley in times of 2:20.04 and 4:56.98, respectively.
- Sophomore All-OAC freestyler Melina Roberts (Westlake) won the 1000-yard freestyle in a time of 11:57.63
- Sophomore All-OAC diver Ella Steen (Madison/Painesville Riverside) won the 1-meter six-dive event with 222.40 total points.
- Freshman diver Emmalie Mitzel (Massillon/Jackson) won the 1-meter five-dive event with 155.10 total points.
- Freshman stroker Brooke Radcliff (Canton/GlenOak) won the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 2:19.65
- Junior stroker Mallory Upcraft (Oswego, N.Y) was second in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:07.37
- Freshman Kate Harrington (Falls Church, Va./George C. Marshall) won the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 58.61 and took second in the 50-yard freestyle in a time of 25.19
- Freshman stroker Annalise Bolton (Berea/Berea-Midpark) took third in the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 6:03.88
Relays
- The 200-yard medley unit of Radcliff, freshman stroker Ameila Wands (East Amherst, N.Y./Williamsville North), Dondorfer and Harrington won in a time of 1:53.85
- The 400-yard freestyle squad of Wands, Upcraft, junior freestyler Emily Kusar (Perry) and Radcliff were second in a time of 3:55.52
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on November 21-23 when they travel to Canton to compete in the three-day NCAA Division II Malone University Invitational at the CT Branin Natatorium.
