AKRON, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's swimming and diving team garnered four individual champions to finish as the runner-up at the 2026 Ohio Athletic Championships hosted by the University of Mount Union inside the Ocasek Natatorium on the campus of NCAA Division I University of Akron.
BW, who was second for the second straight year, finished with 810 points in the five team competition. The University of Mount Union was the champion with 950 points.
Individuals
- Senior All-OAC stroker Mallory Upcraft (Oswego, N.Y.) won her second career championship and earned her second career individual All-OAC honor as she captured the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 2:15.03. Upcraft had the fastest qualifying time.
- Sophomore All-OAC stroker Brooke Radcliffe (North Canton/Hoover) won her first career OAC title as she was won the 200-yard backstroke in a career-best time of 2:1214. Radcliffe, who had the fastest qualifying time, earned her third All-OAC honor of the championships and her fourth career accolade
- Freshman freestyler Eden Stahlin (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) won her first career OAC Championship and first career All-OAC honor as she won the 1650-yard freestyle in a career-best time of 18:31.73
- Junior Abby Marquardt (Pickerington/Central) earned her first career All-OAC honor as she finished third in the 200-yard breaststroke in a career-best time of 2:34.01
- Freshman All-OAC stroker Sydney Harbour (North Canton/GlenOak) earned her second All-OAC accolade of the championships after she placed third in the 200-yard backstroke in a career-best time of 2:14.71. Harbour was the OAC Champion in 100-yard backstroke on Friday night
- Sophomore All-OAC freestyler Amelia Wands (East Amherst, N.Y./Williamsville North) took eighth in the 100-yard freestyle in a time of 56.34
Diving
- Sophomore All-OAC Makenna Mincey (Brunswick/Magnificat) was named the OAC Diver of the Year for the second straight season after winning the 1-meter with an OAC record and school-record 520.10 points. Mincey, who claimed her fourth career All-OAC accolade, won the 3-meter on Friday night.
- Sophomore All-OAC Emmalie Mitzel (Massillon/Jackson) earned her fourth career All-OAC honor as she was the runner-up in the 1-meter with a career-best 471.85 points. Mitzel was also the runner-up in the 3-meter on Friday night.
- Freshman Kajsa Dennison (Berea/Berea-Midpark) placed fourth in the 1-meter with a career-best 336.35 points
- Freshman Audrey Nickell (Mason/Stephen T. Bading) took sixth in the 1-meter with a career-best 295.45 points
Relays
- The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Radcliffe, junior Academic All-OAC stroker Ashley Slife (Westfield Center/Cloverleaf), Wands and Upcraft finished fourth in a time of 3:44.45
