WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Three Baldwin Wallace University women's soccer student-athletes have been selected to the 2025 All-Ohio Athletic Conference Team.
Junior defender Ella James (Loveland) and junior forward Kalyn Rich (Lynchburg/Lynchburg-Clay) were named to the first team while junior midfielder Mia Fourtounis (Akron/Revere) was selected to the third team
James, who earns her first first team selection, garners her third straight accolade after being selected to the second team the previous two seasons. She appeared and started in all 19 games. James had one goal and one assist for a total of three points. She was second on the team in shots taken with 26, and third in shots on goal with nine. Throughout her career, James has appeared in 59 games and has started every single one. She scored one goal and added 14 assists for 16 total points. James took 64 shots, with 31 being on target. She is a 2024 Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association All-Ohio third team selection and a 2023 OAC All-Tournament team honoree. Off the field, James is an Academic All-OAC honoree, College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection, Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar.
Rich, who earns her first career honor, appeared in 19 games with 18 starts. She led the team and was tied for seventh in the OAC with five goals and was ninth in the league in points with 12. Rich added two assists. She scored three game-winning goals. Throughout her career, Rich has played in 50 games with 48 starts. She has 15 goals and 10 assists for a total of 47 career points. She has taken 107 shots, with 56 of them on goal.
Fourtounis, who garners her first career accolade, appeared and started in all 19 games with 25 shots, including nine on net. Throughout her career, Fourtounis has appeared in 57 games with 56 starts. She has recorded one goal and one assist for three points. Off the field, Fourtounis is an Academic All-OAC honoree, College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection, Dean's List student and Jacket Scholar.
The Yellow Jackets concluded the season with a record of 4-11-4 and a 3-3-2 mark in OAC play. BW advanced to the OAC Tournament quarterfinals.
