WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University sophomore outfielder
Sam Peterkoski (Berea/Berea-Midpark) has been named the Co-Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Player of the Year, highlighting an impressive season for the Yellow Jackets. Veteran head coach
Tom Spencer and his staff were honored as the OAC Coaching Staff of the Year, and a total of eight BW student-athletes received All-OAC accolades.
In her first season at BW,
Peterkoski also earned All-OAC first team honors. She leads the conference and ranks third nationally with a remarkable .537 batting average (66-for-123). Her 66 hits place her just three shy of tying the BW single season record and are tied for ninth in the country. She also ranks fifth in the OAC with 16 stolen bases.
Peterkoski has recorded 22 runs batted-in (RBIs), four doubles, 10 walks, and is tied for the team lead in triples with two. She is also tied for third on the team with one home run — an inside-the-park homer hit in her very first at-bat wearing the Brown and Gold. Defensively,
Peterkoski has tallied 61 putouts and two assists in left field.
Head Coach Tom Spencer and his staff were named OAC Coaching Staff of the Year for the third consecutive season and fourth time overall. They previously received the award in 2025, 2024, 2023, and 2011. Now in his 21st season at the helm,
Spencer has amassed 548 career wins and was also named OAC Coach of the Year in 2001.

Lester garners her second career accolade after earning second team honors a season ago. This season, she has appeared and started in 33 games and leads the team with a career-high 41 runs batted-in.
Lester is tied for the team lead with a career-best tying two triples. She is second on the team with 14 walks and four homeruns, including a walk off grand slam.
Lester is third on the team with a .400 batting average (42-of-105) and 10 doubles. She made nine appearances in the circle and had a 4-1 record.
Lester struck out 24 batters with 26 walks. For her career,
Lester has appeared in 74 games with 73 starts. She has a career batting average of .381 (88-of-231) with 78 RBIs, 30 walks, 23 doubles, 11 homeruns, four triples and three stolen bases. Off the diamond,
Lester is a College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar, and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society.
Wolford earns her second career honor after being tabbed as an honorable mention last year. This season, she has appeared and started in all 35 games.
Wolford is second on the team with a career-best .405 batting average (47-of-116).
She leads the team and is tied for fifth in the league with a career-high 13 doubles.
Wolford is tied for the squad lead in triples with two, second in stolen bases with a career-best 12 stolen bases and tied for third in homeruns with one.
She is third on the team with a career-high 31 RBIs.
Wolford has added a career-best tying eight walks. She was named to the OAC All-Tournament Team and the OAC Hitter of the Week on April 14. For her career,
Wolford has played in 117 games with 116 starts. She has a career batting average of .349 (119-of-341) with 83 RBIs, 80 runs scored, 28 doubles, 24 walks, 19 stolen bases, five triples and three homeruns.
Wolford has tallied 185 putouts and 221 assists. Off the field, she is an Academic All-OAC honoree, College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection, Dean's List student, Jacket Scholar, and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Delta Chi-Omega Pre-Medical Society, Choose Ohio First Stem Scholar Mentor and the National Residence Hall, Chi Alpha Sigma and Dayton C. Miller honoraries.
Bricker garners her third career accolade after being named to the first team in 2021 and 2024. This season, she has appeared and started in all 35 games.
Bricker leads the team in walks with 17 and homeruns with seven. She is second on the squad with 35 RBIs and with 13 doubles.
Bricker is fourth on the team with a. career-best .376 batting average (35-of-93). She also has tallied 18 runs scored, one triple, 134 putouts and 14 assists. Bricker was named to the OAC All-Tournament Team for the second time and was the OAC Hitter of the Week on April 7. For her career,
Bricker has appeared in 183 games with 181 starts. She ranks second in school history with 46 doubles, third in runs batted-in with 122 and fourth in homeruns with 22.
Bricker has a career batting average of .316 (166-of-526) with 74 runs scored, 53 walks and two triples. She has tallied 1,078 putouts and 96 assists.
Hall earns her second straight second team honor. This season, she leads the OAC with a career-best 18 victories, including an 18-3 overall record.
Hall leads the OAC with 127 innings pitched, tied for third in the league with allowing 21 walks and is fifth with 79 strikeouts. She had an earned run average of 2.36 and picked up two saves.
Hall was the OAC Pitcher of the Week on April 7. For her career,
Hall is the school's all-time wins leader with 47 career victories, including a 47-22 overall mark. She ranks third in innings pitched with 446.2 and strikeouts with 352 and is tied for fourth with 47 complete games. She is a 2024 OAC All-Tournament selection. Off the diamond,
Hall is a Dean's List student.
Maddamma garners her first career accolade. This season, she has appeared 31 games with 30 starts.
Maddamma is batting .243 (17-of-70) with 16 runs scored, six walks, career-best three doubles, three RBIs and two stolen bases. For her career,
Maddamma has appeared in 70 games with 68 starts. She has a career batting average of .291 (50-of-172) with 31 runs scores, 19 walks, 18 RBIs, five stole bases, four doubles and two homeruns.
Maddamma has tallied 51 putouts and 68 assists. She was a 2024 NCAA Division III Regional All-Tournament Team selection.
Coggins earns her first career honor. This season, she has appeared and started in all 35 games.
Coggins is fourth on the team with a career-best 26 RBIs and is seventh with a career-high .362 batting average (38-of-105). She has tallied eight walks, five doubles, three stolen bases and career-high two triples.
Coggins has recorded 81 putouts and a career-best tying four assists. For her career,

Ryser garners her second career accolade after being named to the second team a season ago. This season, she has appeared and started in all 35 games.
Ryser is second on the team with a career-best 14 steals and is sixth in RBIs with a career-high 21. She is batting .327 (36-of-110) with career-best tying six doubles, three walks and career-high tying one triple.
Ryser has tallied 184 putouts with four assists. For her career,

BW, who finished the regular season with an overall record of 31-4 and OAC record of 15-1, was the OAC Regular Season Champion for the first time in school history.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Thursday, May 15 when they travel to Angola, Indiana for an NCAA Division III Regional Tournament game against the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire at the SportOne/Parkview Softball Field on the campus of Trine University.
