BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team has moved up to No. 15 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association and No. 17 in the D3Hoops.com top-25 polls.
Women's basketball climbed one spot in the WBCA poll and three spots in the D3Hoops.com poll since last week. For D3Hoops.com, they have shot up six spots between the last two published top-25 polls.
With a 5-0 record in the Ohio Athletic Conference, the Yellow Jackets hold first place and are the only team in the OAC on either poll. BW's rankings rose after a 64-55 victory over the second-place Otterbein University Cardinals in Westerville. The last time the Jackets were ranked as high as 15th was before the 45-52 loss to No. 8 John Carroll on November 25. That was the last time BW lost a game, and they have carried a nine-game winning streak since then.
