Women’s Swimming & Diving Crowns Three OAC Champions, Remains Second at OAC Championships

AKRON, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's swimming crowned two Ohio Athletic Conference Champions and remains in second place after the second day of the 2026 OAC Championships hosted by the University of Mount Union inside the Ocasek Natatorium on the campus of NCAA Division I University of Akron.

BW is second of five teams with 443 points. The University of Mount Union leads with 602 points.

Individuals
  • Senior All-OAC stroker Mallory Upcraft (Oswego, N.Y.) won her first career championship and earned her first career individual All-OAC honor as she captured the 400-yard individual medley in a career-best time of 4:49.26.  Upcraft had the fastest qualifying time.
  • Freshman stroker Sydney Harbour (North Canton/GlenOak) won her first career championship and earned her first career All-OAC honor as she captured the 100-yard backstroke in a time of 1:01.28.  Harbour had the fastest qualifying time with a career-best time of 1:00.97
  • Sophomore All-OAC stroker Brooke Radcliffe (North Canton/Hoover) earned her second All-OAC honor of the championships and her third career accolade as she was the runner-up in the 100-yard butterfly in a career-best time of 58.92.  Radcliffe had the fastest qualifying time.
  • Sophomore All-OAC stroker Ameila Wands (East Amherst, N.Y./Williamsville North) earned her second career All-OAC honor as she placed third in the 100-yard breaststroke in a career-best time of 1:09.73
  • Freshman freestyler Eden Stahlin (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) finished sixth in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of 2:04.32
Diving
  • Sophomore All-OAC Makenna Mincey (Brunswick/Magnificat) earned her third career All-OAC honor as won the 3-meter with a career-best 484.95 points.
  • Sophomore All-OAC Emmalie Mitzel (Massillon/Jackson) earned her third career All-OAC honor as she was the runner-up in the 3-meter with a season-best 422.15 points
  • Freshman Kajsa Dennison (Berea/Berea-Midpark) placed fourth in the 3-meter with a career-best 305.60 points
  • Freshman Audrey Nickell (Mason/Stephen T. Bading) took sixth in the 3-meter with a career-best 266.20 points
Relays
  • The 200-yard medley unit of Harbour, Marquardt, Radcliffe and Wands was the runner-up and earned All-OAC honors in a time of 1:51.29
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, February 21 when they close out the OAC Championships.  Preliminary action begins at 10 am with finals slated to begin at 5:30 p.m.
