KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Freshman All-Ohio Athletic Conference diver Malcolm Thompson (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mount Lebanon) competed in his first NCAA Division III Region I Championships hosted by Kalamazoo College in the Kalamazoo Natatorium.

The top eight divers from the combined 1-meter and 3-meter events qualify for the NCAA Division III Championships.

Thompson finished ninth in the 3-meter with a total of 426.25 points.   He was 10th in the 1-meter with a total of 402.45 points.

This season, Thompson was the OAC Diver of the Year, the OAC Champion in the 1-meter and the OAC Champion in the 3-meter.
