WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University men's cross country team, led by Head Coach Joe Eby and the 2025 Ohio Athletic Conference Coaching Staff of the Year, has been voted third in the preseason OAC coaches' poll alongside Mount Union. BW also received two first-place votes.
 
This Yellow Jacket roster has never seen their team selected this high in the OAC preseason poll. However, it should come as no surprise considering the team finished in third place at the 2025 OAC Championship, its highest finish in 11 years under Coach Eby. BW also saw then-junior Dillon Hach race his way to the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championship. He was the first Yellow Jacket to compete on a national stage in cross country since 2011.
 
The 2026 Yellow Jackets will feature the return of Hach, eight Academic All-OAC student-athletes, nine newcomers, and junior United States Track & Field and Cross-Country Coaches Association All-Academic runner Isaak Keller.

BW kicks off the 2026 season on Tuesday, September 1 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wooster Invitational on the L.C. Boles Memorial Golf Course in Wooster, Ohio.
