WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University junior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference thrower Kitar Olsen (Whitefish, Mont.) has been named the OAC Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week for the second time in his career.

Olsen earned this recognition after setting a shot put personal record of 15.39m (50' 6") at the Ashland Jud Logan Light Giver Open. He claimed fourth place in the event and now has the fourth-best put in the OAC this season. Olsen also had an impressive weight throw of 18.56m (60' 10.75") to finish in fourth place. This throw would be the best weight throw in the OAC if he did not already set the OAC-best mark earlier this season.

Olsen's first OAC accolade came on Dec. 9 after his personal best weight throw of 19.33m (63' 5") at the Spartan Alumni Holiday Classic at Case Western Reserve. At the time, he had the second-best weight throw mark in NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Track and Field in the 2025-26 season.

Olsen is a USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete, a CSC Academic All-District honoree, and an Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference student-athlete. He is a cybersecurity major and a Dean's List student at BW.
