LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Baldwin Wallace University softball team is ranked 25th in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association Top 25 poll.
BW, who is ranked for the first time since the 2019 season when it was ranked 23, enters the week atop of the Ohio Athletic Conference standings with an overall record of 19-2 and an OAC mark of 9-1. The Yellow Jackets have won 18 of their last 19 games, including having a 15-game winning streak.
BW is the lone OAC team to be ranked and joins No. 7 Trine (Ind) University and No. 13 Case Western Reserve University as the only other Region VII to be ranked.
The Yellow Jackets play six games this week beginning on Tuesday, April 15 when they travel to Tiffin for an OAC doubleheader against Heidelberg University. BW then hosts a non-conference doubleheader against Grove City (Pa.) College on April 16 and an OAC doubleheader against Otterbein University on April 18
