Zoul Earns OAC Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week for Career First

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse junior midfielder/defender Sarah Zoul (Strongsville) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference defensive player of the week for the first time in her career.
 
Zoul led the women's lacrosse defense with five caused turnovers and four ground balls in a week where BW went 1-1. She had a career-high four caused turnovers and tied a career-high three ground balls in the 9-11 loss to Mount Union on the road. In the 16-2 win over Albion (Mich.), she had one caused turnover and one ground ball. Her defense held the Albion Brits to a shutout in the second half of the game. Zoul leads the team in 2026 with 10 caused turnovers and is second with 11 ground balls.
 
In her career, Zoul has started 14 BW games and appeared in 23 games. She has career totals of 12 caused turnovers and 19 ground balls. She is a business administration major.
