BEREA, Ohio – Baldwin Wallace University women's lacrosse junior midfielder Clare Alic (Carmel, Ind./Guerin Catholic) has been named the Yellow Jacket Women's Athlete of the Month for March 2026.
 
To be considered for the monthly honor, a male or female student-athlete must have been nominated for at least one Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) weekly award in his or her respective sport. From the pool of nominees, members of the Athletic Communications staff, together with student assistants from the department's social media team, select the monthly winner.
 
Alic was a three-time recipient of the Women's Yellow Jacket of the Week award in the month of March. She scored 17 goals across the seven games she started for BW in March, averaging 2.4 goals per game. Alic was named the OAC Offensive Player of the Week on March 2 for the third time in her career. This recognition stemmed from scoring the game-winning goal against John Carroll in the fourth quarter and dropping seven goals against Kenyon to tie her career best.
 
The All-OAC First Team midfielder has started all 11 games for BW to help them to an 8-3 overall record and 2-1 OAC record. Alic has 41 goals this season and averages more a hat trick per game with 3.7 goals per contest. She leads the OAC in both of those categories. Her 128 career goals rank third all-time in BW history and her 162 career points put her at fifth all-time. She has been named All-OAC first team twice and won OAC Rookie of the Year in 2024.
